Toronto Blue Jays vs Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction, Odds and World Series Game 4 Picks for Tuesday, 10/28/25

After 18 grueling innings, the Dodgers walked it off with a home run from, who else, Freddie Freeman. Both teams emptied their bullpens in last night’s matchup, so today they’ll rely heavily on their starters to eat innings and give their relievers a much-needed break. Taking the mound for the Blue Jays will be Shane Bieber who’s struggled this postseason going 1-0 with a 4.38 ERA. 

The Dodgers will counter with Shohei Ohtani, who’s been dominant this postseason with a 2-0 record and a 2.25 ERA. Offensively, the Blue Jays are right there with the Dodgers, but if they want a chance to win, they’ll need to get to Ohtani early. The Dodgers bullpen has been their Achilles’ heel all season, and they hold a 6.16 bullpen ERA this postseason, while Toronto’s hasn’t been much better at 5.43. This is a must-win for the Blue Jays, but this isn’t unfamiliar territory for them. They fell behind 2-0 against the Mariners in the ALCS and came back to win the series. We saw Toronto jump on Blake Snell early in Game 1, and if they can replicate that same type of hitting against Ohtani, they should be able to keep this game close – or even steal it outright.
