Game 1 of the NBA Finals played out similarly to how last season's Finals started, with the visiting Knicks erasing a double-digit second half lead to steal home court against a Spurs team that certainly showed its youth and inexperience in the final quarter of the game. Now, San Antonio is in a situation where it needs to bounce back in order to salvage a split on its home floor. Will the Knicks seize total control of the series, or will the Spurs successfully even the series at a game apiece?

This one tips off at 8:30 PM ET on ABC, and I've prepared a Same Game Parlay for Knicks vs. Spurs at +410 featuring a side and a pair of player props. Be sure to also check out our NBA predictions for the side and total for EVERY 2026 NBA Finals game.

Spurs -5.5 (-120)

Landry Shamet (NYK) over 1.5 made threes (-130)

Dylan Harper (SA) over 17.5 points + rebounds (-124)

Knicks vs Spurs Game 2 parlay odds: +410

Knicks vs Spurs SGP pick: Spurs -5.5 (-120)

The historical data over the last couple decades certainly favors a win and cover from San Antonio in this spot. After all, home favorites in the playoffs that are coming off a Game 1 loss have covered the spread at a 60% clip in the following game. We saw a similar script in multiple series this postseason, including the Thunder bouncing back to dispatch the Spurs in Game 2 of this year's Western Conference Finals following a demoralizing Game 1 defeat. Victor Wembanyama and company should respond at home in this game, and it will start with their elite defense finding ways to turn the Knicks over while converting those miscues into easy buckets on the other end.

On offense, it's hard to imagine De'Aaron Fox playing any worse than he did in Game 1, and we can expect another strong showing from Dylan Harper as well. Look for quicker decisions from Wembanyama and more of an emphasis on attacking the paint, while the rest of the Spurs should play a bit faster in the halfcourt and attack the Knicks in ways that maximize efficiency. Let's roll with the hosts to win by margin and even the series at a game apiece.

Knicks vs Spurs SGP pick: Landry Shamet (NYK) over 1.5 made threes (-130)

The Knicks have been one of the best offenses in NBA postseason history over the course of the last 6 weeks, and one constant for New York has been the excellent play of Landry Shamet. The veteran guard is playing at an extremely high level off the bench, and that includes an Eastern Conference Finals in which he shot over 90% from beyond the 3-point arc. While we cant expect that level of insane efficiency in this series, Shamet got plenty of minutes in Game 1 and knocked down a trio of threes on 6 attempts from deep. Look for Shamet to keep things rolling from downtown, even if the Knicks don't end up picking up the win.

Knicks vs Spurs SGP pick: Dylan Harper (SA) over 17.5 points + rebounds (-124)

One of the biggest takeaways from Game 1 of the Finals was the play of rookie guard Dylan Harper, who was clearly the Spurs best offensive player in the game. Harper's elite finishing skills around the rim were on full display, and he also racked up 8 rebounds in 28 minutes. The young phenom didn't play down the stretch, and Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson was heavily criticized for that move, which could lead to more minutes for Harper in Game 2. Look for the Rutgers product to build on his excellent Game 1 performance with more minutes and a heavier workload against a Knicks backcourt that can be exploited against taller guards that can attack the rim consistently.
