With Tuesday’s showdown set for 9:30 pm ET on NBC, it’s time to break down my SGP. Also don’t forget to check out our full Thunder vs Spurs prediction.
Thunder vs Spurs Same Game Parlay picks
Spurs -2.5 (-108)
Dylan Harper Over 15.5 points (-106)
Chet Holmgren to record a double-double (+257)
Parlay odds: +1300
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as San Antonio guard Dylan Harper scoring his fair share of points would obviously work well with a Spurs win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with also backing Oklahoma City big man Chet Holmgren to record a double-double. But even if he does, there is no reason why the home team can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs.
Spurs -2.5 (-108)
By no means was it easy to get past Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals, but there is no doubt that San Antonio owned this matchup in 2025-26. The Spurs dominated the regular-season series 4-1, including a victory in the semifinals of the NBA Cup. Fast forward to 2026-27 and the Spurs arguably improved during the offseason while the Thunder potentially got worse. San Antonio added veteran forward Tobias Harris, although he won’t be ready for the opener due to a calf injury. OKC lost Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe. Not having Harris obviously isn’t ideal for the Spurs, but they have a deep roster that can make up for it – led by Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, De’Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell, Dylan Harper, Julian Champagnie and more. San Antonio went 32-8 at home during the 2025-26 regular season, the best such record in the entire NBA. In front of their home fans on opening night, the Spurs should get the job done.
Dylan Harper Over 15.5 points (-106)
Harper will be flying into the 2026-27 campaign with a ton of confidence after the way he ended last season. The #2 overall pick in 2025 scored 21 and 25 points in the last two games of the NBA Finals against New York and averaged 18.0 ppg during that series. He had 24-point and 18-point performance in the conference semis against Oklahoma City. Harris’ absence could also be a factor in Harper once again playing a huge role in San Antonio’s offense.
Chet Holmgren to record a double-double (+257)
Health is really the only thing that has held Holmgren back at times in the early stages of his NBA career. Well, that isn’t a factor following a much-needed offseason. The Gonzaga product started last season with double-doubles in three of his first four games, a stretch that featured outputs of 28 and 31 points. He scored in double-figures in 23 of his first 24 contests. Holmgren also delivered double-doubles in two of the last three games against San Antonio in the Western Conference Finals. At surprisingly long odds, Holmgren has great value to do it again on Tuesday.
