Brooklyn Nets vs Houston Rockets Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/27/25
Nets vs Rockets Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Brooklyn Nets and the Houston Rockets will both be looking for their first win of the season Monday night. The Nets have lost all three of their games played this season. Their latest loss was a 118-107 loss Sunday night against the Spurs. Cam Thomas led the Nets in scoring with 40 points. Thomas was the only Net to produce on the road. If you take away Thomas’ contributions, the rest of Brooklyn’s team only shot 37% from the field. The Rockets surprisingly are also looking for their first win of the season. They fell in double overtime opening night against the Thunder, and they lost their last game 115-111 against the Pistons. Kevin Durant led the Rockets in scoring with 37 points, and the Rockets had five other players scoring in double digits.
According to the point spread, there is a solid assumption that tonight will be a good opportunity for the Rockets to get their first win of the season against the Nets. The Rockets should be the fresher team in this game. They had the entire weekend off, while the Nets are playing in the second half of a back-to-back. Kevin Durant has started his time with the Rockets averaging 30 points per game and Alperen Sengun has added 28 points per game. These two should have a lot of room to operate against a Nets team that has allowed their opponents to score on average 128.3 points per game. The Nets have also given up on average 16 turnovers a game. Brooklyn is very inexperienced at point guard to start the season. Ben Saraf and Egor Demin are both 19 years old and are receiving about 20 minutes a game. Both of these young point guards could potentially struggle against a Houston defense that was one of the most physical defenses in the league last season. I have the Rockets getting their first win of the season, and winning in a big way tonight.
Rockets -15.5 is available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number.
