Warriors vs Kings Pickswise Expert Predictions

Game Totals Pick
Over 225.0(-110)

The Golden State Warriors won and covered against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night on a 28-point performance from Stephen Curry and now face the second leg of a back-to-back when they travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings. The Warriors are banged up however, with Curry ruled out with illness, Draymond Green likely to be rested, and Jimmy Butler listed as questionable after exiting Tuesday’s game with lower back soreness. That leaves Golden State with potentially 3 of their starters on the bench when they matchup against a relatively healthy Kings’ team with an extra day of rest. Sacramento is just 2-5 to begin the season and this seems like an ideal spot to back the home team, which is desperate for a win after losses in 4 of their last 5 contests.

While I like the Kings to win and cover, I like a play on the total even more. The total opened at 232.5 and has plummeted down to 225 with the assumption that Curry and company won’t be in action. The movement makes sense, but it now feels too low to not make a play on the over. Typically, the Warriors might be slower on the second leg of a back-to-back, but most of the playing time on Wednesday will come from bench players who haven’t seen much of the court to begin with, so fatigue really shouldn’t be factored in as heavily. In addition to that, the Warriors and Kings are a combined 10-5 on the over this season and Sacramento has gone over the number in 3 consecutive games. Back the over at its current number.

Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings Prediction: Over 225 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
