Clippers vs Cavaliers Pickswise Expert Predictions

Point Spread Pick
LA Clippers +8.5(-110)

The Los Angeles Clippers managed to pick up a win last night as they took down the Charlotte Hornets behind a monster 55-point game from James Harden. Tonight, they will have a tough task of playing the Cleveland Cavaliers on the second night of a back-to-back, but they will have reinforcements. Kawhi Leonard looks set to make a return and should prove to be a major boost. The visitors are a .500 team when their superstar plays this season. The hosts on the other hand are dealing with a few injuries with Lonzo Ball, Jarrett Allen, Sam Merrill all appearing on the injury report. Being without a 40% 3-point shooter and a big who can match against Ivica Zubac could really impact the Cavaliers here.

James Harden has been in incredible form for the visitors, scoring 30 or more points in 4 of his last 5 games. He will get to go up against an undersized backcourt in Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell. The Cavaliers have recently given up a 32-point performance to Andrew Nembhard. It’s hard to see them having success slowing down the Clippers star. With Zubac having the size advantage over Evan Mobley in the paint the visitors offense should have multiple ways to score. It’s hard to see the hosts being able to build up a double-digit lead as a result.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Cleveland Cavaliers prediction: Clippers +8.5 available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props.
