UTA Jazz Win(+140)

The Utah Jazz find themselves on a 3-game losing streak but should have a perfect opportunity to end that run tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. Both teams will be on the back end of a back-to-back set, having played last night. The Jazz have fared better in those games this season, with a winning record when playing on zero rest. The Grizzlies come into this contest having issues at point guard; Ja Morant, Ty Jerome and Scottie Pippen Jr. all unavailable. Cam Spencer has stepped up with a couple of solid performances, but there is little depth behind him. It is no surprise to see the visitors riding a 2-game losing streak, themselves, which includes a loss to the Washington Wizards.

Utah has been relatively strong at home this season, with a 7-9 record. Playing at altitude after playing last night should impact the Grizzlies more in this one. The Jazz have been strong scoring the ball of late, ranking 12th in offensive rating over the last 10 games. With Lauri Markannen spacing the floor and pulling Jaren Jackson Jr. away from the paint, they should have success scoring on the inside. The Jazz have also been a dangerous team from the perimeter of late, ranking seventh in 3-point percentage during that stretch of games. Their offense could be in full flow as a result, being able to score on all 3 levels. They are 11th in second-chance points per game during that time, too, which should help them convert on any missed opportunities. Let’s back them to end their losing streak.

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props.
