MIL Bucks -6.0(-105)

After a much-needed win in Dallas, the Milwaukee Bucks are in Charlotte on Wednesday night for their 1st of two meetings with the Hornets over these next two days. Consistency has eluded Doc Rivers’ men in the past 7 games with the Bucks exchanging wins and losses, these next two games are a perfect opportunity to put together a win streak for the first time in the month of November. Charlotte has fallen to the Bucks in 7 of 8 meetings, including the last two these teams played last season by 10 and 6 points. Giannis is once again on the injury report with his knee issue, but by now we are already used to this being the case prior to every game basically.

The injury report for the home team isn’t good ahead of this game with 5 games on it. Most notably LaMelo Ball and Grant Williams are both out, with a couple more important players questionable. Even if everyone was healthy I’d still pick the Bucks here as they are the more complete team all around. The Hornets have had problems with three point defense, ranking just 23rd in opponent three-point percentage. That’s not a good sign before a game against one of the elite shooting teams in the NBA. Another thing the Hornets struggle with is containing ball movement from their opponents, they allow the 5th most assists per game which just highlights how little ball pressure they apply on defense.

Look for the Bucks to exploit all those weaknesses here. They connect on 40% of their threes this season which is 3rd best in the NBA. Miles Bridges went off against the Lakers with 34 points, he is the only player they need to worry about here. Take Milwaukee.

Bucks vs Hornets Predictions: Bucks -5.5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
