Coming off a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Minnesota Timberwolves will look to keep their winning ways going when they welcome the Milwaukee Bucks Sunday night. The Timberwolves have a record of 18-10 this season, and are 10-5 on their home court. Minnesota has won three of their last four games with their last win coming against the Thunder 112-107. Anthony Edwards led the team in scoring with 26 points, including a go-ahead three-pointer with 37 seconds remaining. The Bucks have a record of 11-17 this season, but they have only won 3 out of 12 road games. Milwaukee has lost four of their last five games, including a 111-105 loss in their last game against the Toronto Raptors. Bobby Portis had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and Kevin Porter Jr. added 22 points and 13 assists in the defeat.

The Bucks will again have to try to win without Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight. Milwaukee has a record 2-9 this season when Antetokounmpo is out of the lineup. Despite falling short in most matchups, the Bucks have been competitive in these games. Only four of the nine losses came by double digits, and only one loss came by more than 15 points. The Timberwolves are in a position for an emotional letdown tonight coming off their biggest win of the season. With the Thunder getting off to one of the best starts in NBA history, beating Oklahoma City has a lot of weight. The two teams that beat the Thunder previously, The Spurs and Trail Blazers, both lost their following game after defeating the Thunder. The Timberwolves have been great at home this season, but they have never been a dominant team that consistently blows out lower-tiered teams. Minnesota has a margin of victory of 6.5 points at home this season. The Bucks are still learning to play without their star, and they have enough talent where they will eventually figure it out. Tonight could be a good opportunity for them to give the Timberwolves a scare.

Bucks +12.5 is available at the time of publishing. Playable at +10.5.
