Timberwolves vs Warriors Pickswise Expert Predictions
After winning Game 2 you could just feel a massive sigh of relief by the Minnesota Timberwolves fans who were very disappointed with the effort displayed by their team when they lost the series opener. With the series now tied at 1-1 and Stephen Curry out of the picture for seemingly the next couple of games, this is the time for the Timberwolves to show how much they’ve matured as a team. Game 3 is theirs for the taking, the three-point shot has seemingly recovered after 16 threes went in on Wednesday. A total of 33 assists recorded tells us the ball movement was on point in that game, a similar performance would be massive for the T’Wolves on Saturday.
Golden State’s biggest concern right now is how to get enough points on the board. Head coach Steve Kerr dug deep into his bench, playing every single player on the roster by the 3rd quarter of Game 2, looking for answers. What did he get? Jonathan Kuminga went off for 18 points, while Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in with 15 and that’s about it. The offensive rating of the Warriors is in the low 90s without Steph, but in order to give themselves a chance in this series they must do everything in their power to win at least one of the next two games so this series goes at least 6 games. That’ll give Curry enough time to recover from his hamstring injury.
Obviously the crowd at Chase Center will up for it in Game 3, but I can’t really see Golden State challenging the Timberwolves unless we get a 30-point triple double from Jimmy Butler here. Minnesota has already won twice on the road this postseason, they are 4-1 SU in their last 5 visits to Chase Center. I’m rolling with Ant Man and co. to get the job done in Game 3.
Timberwolves vs Warriors Game 3 Predictions: Timberwolves -5 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
