New Orleans Pelicans vs Chicago Bulls Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 12/14/25

The New Orleans Pelicans will look to end their long road losing streak against the struggling Chicago Bulls Sunday night. The Pelicans have a record of 4-22 this season and a record on the road of 1-10. The Pelicans have not won a road game since they beat the Dallas Mavericks 101-99 on November 5th. New Orleans has lost seven of their last eight games, but they are coming off a 143-120 win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Trey Murphy III led the team in scoring with 24 points, and Jordan Poole added 22 points in his return from injury. The Bulls have a record of 10-14 this season, but have a home record of 6-5. Chicago has also lost seven of their last eight games, but they won their last game against the Charlotte Hornets 129-126. Josh Giddey led the Bulls with 26 points and 11 assists, and the Bulls shot 56% from the field to overcome a 13-point second-half deficit in the win. 

This will be the second time this season the Bulls and Pelicans compete against one another. Their first meeting was back on November 24th when the Pelicans defeated the Bulls in New Orleans 143-130. Zion Williamson led the Pelicans in scoring in that game with 29 points. Williamson is listed as questionable for tonight’s game after practicing on Saturday, but with the Pelicans being as careful as they are with him, I wouldn’t expect Williamson to play tonight. The Pelicans have gotten off to a difficult start this season, and it doesn’t seem to matter what changes they make, they cannot pair together wins. After starting their season 2-10, they fired their head coach Willie Green. Interim head coach James Borrego has not fared any better, posting a record of 2-12. Players have come back and gone on and off the injury list, but the only consistent this season for New Orleans is them losing basketball games. I expect the Bulls to even the season series tonight on their home floor against New Orleans.
