New York Knicks
Money Line Pick
MIL Bucks Win(+100)

Two top Eastern Conference teams are set to play each other on NBC Tuesday night when the New York Knicks take on the Milwaukee Bucks. Both teams are coming off their first loss of the season and will be looking to bounce back with a big win. New York lost against the Heat 115-107 on Sunday. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks in scoring with 37 points, but New York fell short while only shooting 38% from the field. The Bucks lost their game 118-113 on Sunday against the Cavaliers. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 40 points to lead the Bucks, but Milwaukee in the end could not hang around with last year’s Eastern Conference top seed due to some key injuries.

The Knicks and the Bucks were linked this offseason after rumors that the Knicks would make a move towards bringing in Antetokounmpo. The offseason came-and-gone and Milwaukee still has their star player, and now each of these teams will see where each other is at. The Bucks and the Knicks have gotten off to similar starts this season. They both have needed to rely heavily on their star players due to injury concerns. The Bucks have been playing without two of their top guards in Cole Anthony and Kevin Porter Jr. Ryan Rollins has been asked to step up into the starting point guard position, and he has done a solid job averaging 12 points per game this season. Antetokounmpo has done all he can offensively to lead his team, averaging 36 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists. The Knicks are still waiting for Mitchell Robinson to make his season debut. Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart have been playing for the Knicks, but both have been limited in minutes and production due to injury. Jalen Brunson has led the Knicks averaging 30 points per game, while the Knicks as a whole are shooting 40% from the field and 33% from three-point range. Both of these shooting percentages rank near the bottom of the NBA, and they are both well below the averages the Knicks put up last season. I think eventually they will improve, but they do show that the Knicks offense is not consistently putting the ball in the basket this season. I like for the Bucks to get the win at home tonight.
