POR Trail Blazers Win(+165)

The Oklahoma City Thunder remains the only undefeated team in the NBA but tonight they will have to travel to take on the Portland Trail Blazers where their streak could end. The visitors will be on the second night of a back-to-back which should make fatigue play a big factor. They will also be without the services of Luguentz Dort who suffered an injury last night against the Los Angeles Clippers. With Shaedon Sharpe probable to play for the hosts, Dort’s absence could be a big factor. The forward is averaging 18.1 points per game this season in under 28 minutes per game. Without one of their key wing stoppers, the Thunder could be vulnerable.

The hosts have shown major improvements this season, ranking in the top 10 of the league in defensive rating while also being 15th offensively. They also thrive on hustle plays as they are 9th in second chance points per game and 4th in fast break points. Against a fatigued opponent, it should help propel their offense. While the hosts are not great from beyond the arc, neither are the visitors, with the teams in 13th and 14th in 3-point makes per game. The Trail Blazers have the talent to keep this one competitive, and with the scheduling that has taken place, they should have a chance to pull off an upset here.

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props.
