The Orlando Magic have played below expectations all season long. The good news for the Magic is they are still set to play postseason basketball. The Magic are currently in the play-in tournament, but they only sit 2 games back of the #6 seed. If they have any hope of moving up in the standings, they need to win each game in front of them.

The Magic will have a good chance to do just that Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas has lost 7 of their last 8 games, including a 123-99 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks their last time out. Cooper Flagg continues to get valuable minutes in what has been a phenomenal rookie campaign, averaging 22.1 points in 34 minutes played per game in his last 10 games. P.J. Washington will likely miss this game with an illness, but Daniel Gafford, Max Christie, and Naji Marshall will still be available to help support Flagg.

The Mavericks have the pieces to keep this game competitive.
