The Washington Wizards have started the season playing up tempo basketball, which is no surprise seeing the youth that makes up the core of their team. Having a rim running center in Alexander Sarr helps. They have so far ranked 4th in pace this season and will be welcoming a team that ranks 10th tonight in the Orlando Magic. Both teams have been making a point of getting out in transition this season, both being in the top 10 in fast break points per game. With the Magic also ranking 25th in opponent points in that category, the stage should be set for this to be a quick back-and-forth encounter.

The Wizards do have a couple of veterans in their starting 5 with CJ McCollum and Khris Middleton which gives opposing teams clear targets to attack. The Wizards have had issues covering them, and are just 28th this season in defensive rating. The Magic have surprisingly struggled in that category too, ranking just 23rd themselves. They really lack a rim protector, with just the Chicago Bulls allowing more opponent points in the paint per game this season. It should provide the Wizards with a clear plan for attack. Considering the hosts are also 9th in both 3-point percentage and 3-pointers made per game, their offense should have success on several levels. As a result, expect this one to turn into a shootout. Back the over.

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props.
