The struggling Sacramento Kings will travel to Miami this Saturday night to take on the Heat. Miami has been dominant on its home floor this season with a record of 10-2, but it will be coming into this game cold — having lost 3 of its last 4 games overall this season. The Heat played last night against the Orlando Magic and fell short 106-105. Norman Powell led the Heat in scoring with 28 points, but the Heat could not pick up the victory despite holding the Magic to 41% shooting. The Kings have lost 4 straight games, with their last loss coming against the Houston Rockets 121-95. The leading scorers for the Kings were center Maxime Raynaud and guard Malik Monk with 25 each. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine both were pulled early in this game, totaling 23 or fewer minutes played each. 

With the Heat playing in the second leg of a back-to-back, the Kings will be the fresher team in this matchup. I’m not sure that will matter , as the Heat are 3-0 this season when playing in the second leg. It also needs to be considered that the Kings will be traveling across the country to play this game. I don’t have confidence that they will be able to turn their season around with a win tonight against Miami. The Kings have the lowest scoring offense in the NBA at 111 points per game, and they will be without their best player in Domantas Sabonis. They will need to keep pace with the Heat offense that is second in the NBA with 122.8 points per game. With Sabonis not present in the lineup, it should offer even more opportunities for Bam Adebayo to score. Adebayo just became the third-leading scorer in the Heat’s franchise history. He will have a good opportunity to add to his total tonight.
