MIN Timberwolves -16.0(-110)

Right now, the Washington Wizards are on pace to finish the season 5-77 SU. After 13 games played they’ve won just once which is only 7% of their games. Veterans like Khris Middleton and CJ McCollum are putting up decent numbers, but this team is going nowhere and they are just wasting their time. The last two Wizards losses were by 23 points each, but what hurts even more is the fact that one of them was against the Brooklyn Nets, another team that had just 1 win in 12 games. The oddsmakers are giving the Wizards just 10% of a chance to pull off the upset in Minnesota on Wednesday.

The Timberwolves better not get complacent here. They’ve been somewhat disappointing at home winning just 4 times in 7 games, this is basically a layup game for them as they try to accumulate wins in order to go up the tough West standings. Anthony Edwards and co. have done well offensively since the start of November. They’ve scored at least 120 points in all but two of the games, both of which were losses against New York and Denver. The formula to win here is quite simple – pile on the points against the worst defense and the 3rd worst offensive in the NBA.

At 16 points the spread is quite big here, but Washington has shown very little incentive to win games as they are just 1-10 ATS in 11 played. Minnesota is 14-5 SU in 19 games at Target Center, they’ve covered in 6 of their last 9 overall. I’ll take them to get the job done here.

Wizards vs Timberwolves Predictions: Timberwolves -16 is available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
