Wednesday has a full slate of games in the group stages of this year’s soccer World Cup as Groups E and F get underway with Germany, Spain and Canada in action. We have picked out a 4-leg parlay for the day’s action that pays +1818 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook. Make sure you also check out all our World Cup soccer predictions and remember to gamble responsibly.

Morocco vs Croatia tie (+220)

Germany vs Japan both teams to score (-128)

Spain vs Costa Rica under 2.5 goals (+128)

Belgium ML (-210)

Parlay odds: +1818

Let’s check out the reasoning behind each of our selections:

Morocco vs Croatia: Tie (+220) – 5:00am ET

Morocco have a stronger-looking squad for this year’s World Cup than they did at the Africa Cup of Nations, where previous manager Vahid Halilhodzic excluded Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech and Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui after disagreements with the pair. New coach Walid Regragui has brought both men back into the fold and they should feature for a Morocco team that also features Paris St-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi. The Atlas Lions have tied 2 of their last 4 opening games at World Cups and that could be the result once again.

Germany vs Japan: Both teams to score (-128) – 8:00am ET

Germany netted 36 goals in 10 World Cup qualifiers to qualify for Qatar and both teams are fancied to find the net in what is set to be an entertaining clash between the European giants and Japan. Both teams have scored in 6 of Germany’s last 7 competitive games and they have struggled defensively recently.

Hansi Flick’s men have won just 2 of their last 8 matches and Japan have picked up some big results recently, beating the United States and Australia in recent months. Take both teams to score.

Spain vs Costa Rica: Under 2.5 goals (+128) – 11:00am ET

Spain are -700 to beat Costa Rica in their opening matchup but the South Americans are a solid defensive team and the Spaniards are lacking a top-level striker.

Under 2.5 goals has cashed in 8 of Costa Rica’s last 9 competitive games and in Keylor Navas they have a solid goalkeeper, who may help deny Spain running wild in this encounter. Four of La Roja’s last 6 competitive matches have also seen less than 3 goals so don’t expect a high-scoring clash here.

Belgium vs Canada: Belgium ML (-210) – 2:00pm ET

Belgium reached the semifinals of the last World Cup and their golden generation have one last shot at being victorious in a major tournament in Qatar. The Red Devils have a number of top-level players and went unbeaten in qualifying — they should be able to get the better of a Canada team that are appearing at the World Cup for the first time since 1986. Take Belgium on the money line as the Canucks face a tough first opponent in this opening game.
