There are 3 games to place wagers on Wednesday night in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Brooklyn Nets look to even the series at 1 with the Boston Celtics after losing Game 1 at the buzzer. The Raptors go back to Toronto and aim to get back in the series with the Philadelphia 76ers holding a 2-0 lead in the series. The Bucks and Bulls both shot poorly in Game 1 and the Bucks won by 7 points and the Bucks look to extend the lead to 2-0. Bets may be added throughout the day if additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. My record is 93-66-1 for the season. Here are my player props picks for tonight.

Marcus Smart over 25.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115 on BetMGM)

This is another good setup for Smart. It’s the playoffs and rotations are shortened and Smart will play big minutes outside of a blowout. In Game 1, Smart had 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 36 minutes. He took 17 shots from the field, including 4-for-9 from three-point range. Smart has fared well against the Nets going over this line in 3 of 4 games this season. The one he fell short was due to a 23-point win in which he played 30 minutes. In 5 playoff games against the Nets last season, he went over this line 3 times and the other 2 he finished with 25. In the last 13 games against Brooklyn, Smart averages 17.8 points per game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 12.5 rebounds (-135 on Caesars)

Antetokounmpo is averaging 11.6 rebounds in only 32.9 minutes per game. In the playoffs, he will play in the mid-30s. In Game 1 against the Bulls, he played 34 minutes and was limited due to 5 fouls and had 16 rebounds. He had 17 rebounds in 30 minutes against the Bulls on March 22, 16 rebounds in 39 minutes on March 4, 12 in 37 minutes on Jan. 21 and 9 in only 24 minutes on April 5. The Bulls allow a lot of rebounds to power forwards, allowing the second-most over the last 15 games.
