Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. On the year, I’ve recorded 116 wins and 91 losses for a gain of +18 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Sunday.

The fade of the San Francisco Giants continues. No matter if it’s versus a righty or lefty, the Giants simply can’t hit. They’ve scored 104 runs in their last 30 days, which is the 4th fewest in that span.
Teammate Blake Snell shredded this lineup earlier in this series. He pitched 6 terrific innings with just 1 run allowed and 11 strikeouts. The Giants on-base and slugging percentage ranks in the bottom half of the league since the beginning of June.
Gore is still eyeing up the NL Rookie of the Year. After getting hit hard against the Colorado Rockies in back-to-back starts, Gore settled in against the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers, 2 of the top hitting teams versus left-handed pitching. He allowed 1 run through 11 innings pitched.
Gore already has experience against this Giants lineup. Back in May, he pitched 6 innings of 3 hit baseball and allowed only 1 run. I’m buying into Gore having another magical start.
