Mikal Bridges has been a star for the Brooklyn Nets since coming over in the Kevin Durant trade. Bridges’ shooting volume and aggression have been noticeable during his brief tenure with the Nets, and that includes his willingness to let it fly from beyond the arc. Bridges is just over 38% from the 3-point line this season, but he’s tallied 3+ threes in 7 of his last 10 games, including 5 of the last 6 road games for the Nets. Yet for whatever reason, the sportsbooks have not quite adjusted enough to this increase in volume as it relates to his 3-point prop lines.
The versatile wing is also shooting just over 45% from the floor on 19 attempts per game over the last 10 contests, so the volume and efficiency are clearly there on a nightly basis. We can expect him to get plenty of good looks from downtown against a Magic team that is 19th in defensive rating this season. I’m comfortable with backing Brooklyn’s Bridges to knock down at least 3 triples on Sunday.

Anthony Davis over 24.5 points (-125)
The Lakers are playing well in recent games, and a large part of that is due to the play of Anthony Davis. The Los Angeles big man treated us well on Wednesday, as he moved up 5 spots on the NBA all-time scoring list by putting in 26 points and clearing his points prop. While this line has increased to 26.5 for today’s game, I’m still expecting an excellent effort from Davis. After all, the 30-year-old has been consistent of late, averaging 26 points per game this season and nearly 27 points per game over his last 10 starts.
LeBron James was upgraded on the Lakers injury report on Sunday, and it’s now confirmed that he will play in this one. However, I still anticipate Davis to to shoulder the scoring load in a game the Lakers have to win to keep pace in the Western Conference playoff chase. Furthermore, his task shouldn’t be a difficult one, as Bulls center Nikola Vucevic doesn’t bring much to the table in terms of defensive prowess. Davis should be able to exploit this mismatch throughout the game en route to another great performance.
