Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Dallas Mavericks were able to set up a Game 7 last night against the Phoenix Suns and 2 more teams will be looking to replicate that outcome. The Boston Celtics will have a tough task of snatching a road win against the Milwaukee Bucks. And in the Western Conference the Memphis Grizzlies will try to continue rolling without Ja Morant as they travel to take on the Golden State Warriors.

You can find our full coverage of the NBA here. But for now check out my favorite player props below.

Jaylen Brown over 6.5 rebounds (+114)

The Celtics have their backs against the wall and will need major contributions from their stars. Being the smaller team, they will need players to step up on the glass, and Jaylen Brown is more than capable of helping there. He is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game this series, hitting this line in 3 of the 5 games. He has the athletic ability to go over the top of players to collect boards. The Bucks have struggled shooting from deep this series, too, making 32.4% of their shots. That should help lead to long rebounding opportunities for Brown. With the importance of tonight’s games, minutes should not be an issue either. Do not be surprised to see him play close to 40. That should help his rebounding numbers.

Al Horford over 3.5 assists (+102)

The Bucks decided to take away the 3-point shot from Al Horford in Game 5. It worked. He attempted just 2 shots from deep, missing both. However, having him being closed out more aggressively opened up his passing game. He was able to record 6 assists on the night — his high for the series so far. The Bucks were able to win the game so it is likely that they will continue to taking the same approach. Considering the lowest number of assists he has managed in a game against the Bucks is 3, being forced to move the ball should help this line tick over. Whether it is swinging the ball to teammates on the perimeter, or finding cutters from the post, I expect a great passing night from the veteran center.

Steven Adams over 17.5 points + rebounds (-115)

After not being used much in the opening round of the postseason, Steven Adams of the Grizzlies is starting to carve out a role for himself once again. In Game 4 he went for 25 combined points and rebounds and followed it up with 20 in Game 5. A major part of those lines is due to his rebounding ability. The Warriors tend to play small with Draymond Green at center, but he is not someone who Adams has to respect on the perimeter. It should allow the Adams to stay in and around the paint as a result. During the regular season he led the league in offensive rebounds per game and I expect him to convert several of those opportunities on Friday. A minimum of 3 makes should set him up very well to hit this line.
