Nikolaj Ehlers over 0.5 assists (+105)

There’s something about the Winnipeg Jets and being the only game going on. That was the case in the final game last season and earlier this year when Josh Morrissey came through for us in this article. However, this time we’re swapping to Nikolaj Ehlers for the same assist prop at a much better price. He’s back healthy and an integral part of this Jets squad. That’s easy to see with his 17 points through 15 games. Ehlers and the Jets will be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing 4-0 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Thankfully, the St. Louis Blues provide the perfect opportunity.

The Blues have lost each of their last 4 games and goaltender Jordan Binnington has been awful this year. In the first 3 of those 4 losses, the Blues allowed 5 goals and it’s worse than it sounds. They lost 5-3 to the Chicago Blackhawks, the worst team in the Western Conference, and then 5-0 to the Arizona Coyotes, who are only above Chicago in the Central Division. That’s great news for Jets fans, as Winnipeg has defeated the Blues 4-0 and 5-2 already this season.

If you didn’t guess already, Ehlers had an assist in each of the last 2 games against St. Louis and 4 in total. One of which was the last time he faced the Blues at home, which was a 3-assist game. Admittedly, Ehlers does enjoy taking his shots, but he’s also on a line alongside a volume shooter in Kyle Connor. With St. Louis allowing the 5th-most goals per game on the road this season, expect Morrissey to leave them singing the Blues tonight.
