Now let’s get to it.

Chandler Stephenson over 0.5 points (-140)

The Vegas Golden Knights are scoring a ton of goals right now. They have scored 3 goals or more in 8 straight games, and Chandler Stephenson is a big reason why. Stephenson has 9 points (1 goal, 8 assists) in that stretch, and he even missed last Friday’s game against the Flyers. That’s 9 points in his last 7 games. On the year, Stephenson has tallied 29 points (9 goals, 20 assists) in 28 games. Stephenson mans Vegas’ top line between Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty, which certainly bodes well for him finding the score sheet on any given night. That line can do some serious damage, and their potential was seen on Sunday as they combined for 10 points in a win over the Wild.

Tonight Stephenson and the Golden Knights face the New York Rangers. They are dealing with some injuries, and No. 1 netminder Igor Shesterkin is still on IR. Alexandar Georgiev is slated to start for New York tonight, and while he has been solid, his save percentage on the season is still below .900. With the way the Knights’ offense is rolling (and their top line specifically), look for Stephenson to find the score sheet tonight.

Roope Hintz under 0.5 points (+100)

Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing

Roope Hintz returns to the lineup for the Dallas Stars tonight after a 2-game absence. He could have a tough time getting back into the swing of things against a tough Blues team. The Blues held the Stars to just a single goal in their meeting on Tuesday in Dallas, and now they get to face them on their home ice. On the season, St Louis has been better defensively at home. They are giving up 2.93 goals per game on the road, but that number drops to 2.47 at home, which ranks 11th in the league. That may not be the biggest split in the world, but it’s also worth noting that the Dallas offense is struggling. They are currently riding a 4-game losing streak, and they have scored just 1.5 goals per game in that stretch. Even with Hintz returning to the lineup tonight, things shouldn’t come easy for Dallas’ offense tonight. Look for Hintz to stay off the score sheet tonight as he adjusts to game action after a short absence.
