Group F is the most competitive section at Euro 2020 and the first round of games has left it finely poised.

Germany takes on Portugal in Munich after both teams experienced differing luck in their opening matches. Portugal beat Hungary 3-0 in Budapest, while Germany lost out to France 1-0 in their own stadium.

The game couldn’t be more important for both teams, who will be looking to go into the final game of the group stages with their hopes of a place in the knockout stages still alive.

For such a big game, we have picked out a same game parlay to make it a super Saturday.

Make sure you check out our picks and best bets for each of Saturday’s Euro 2020 matchups.

Here is a look at our same game parlay for Portugal vs. Germany in Munich.

Tie – Halftime result (+100)

Tie ML (+220)

Both teams to score (-122)

Parlay odds: +778

This parlay has odds of nearly 8/1! Let’s look at each pick in turn and the reasoning behind it.

Tie – Halftime result (+100)

In such a closely contested game, a tie at halftime may be the sensible play. Portugal left it late to secure their win on Tuesday, scoring three times in the last 15 minutes and it may be a tight first half here.

Home advantage will be important for Germany here and after their loss to France they will want to keep the game as close as possible. That could well lead to a controlled first half before the game opens up.

Tie ML (+220)

There may not be much to separate these two teams throughout the game, as they both possess top players capable of winning matches individually. Also, the qualification process of Euro 2020 means a tie may be mutually beneficial to both sides.

As the four best third-placed finishers continue to the knockout stage, a tie here will likely lead to both teams progressing. Portugal has already won one game and Germany would be expected to beat Hungary in their final game, meaning honors even here would give them the four points it usually takes to progress from the group stages of such a competition.

This may not be a major factor in the result, but if the result is close near the end of the game don’t be surprised if both teams are happy to take a point.

Both teams to score (-122)

Despite the close nature of this game, both teams have such attacking talent that there should be goals on the cards.

Portugal has scored 10 goals in their last four games and coming into the tournament, the Germans had conceded 16 in their last 10 matches. Die Mannschaft are no strangers to the scoresheet either — they beat Latvia 7-1 in their last warm-up game.

As a result, it looks likely that both teams will be able to fashion enough chances to get goals. Take both teams to score to round off our parlay.
