We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including action from the NBA, NHL and MLB. One pick is taken from each sport, with a second pick from the NHL. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1099 at DraftKings. Let’s break down each of these plays.

NHL: Washington Capitals vs New York Rangers – Over 5.5 goals (-120), 7:05 pm ET

Neither team has been scoring a ton lately, but that could change in this game. The Capitals have averaged 2.17 goals in their last 6 games, and the Rangers have averaged 2.33 goals in their last 3. However, with a pair of backups likely to start in net, the talent on both teams will have a much easier time than usual. The game total is set at only 5.5 goals, so take the over.

MLB: Houston Astros vs Toronto Blue Jays ML (-115), 7:07 pm ET

Houston hosted Toronto last weekend and nearly got swept — only an extra-inning win on Sunday saved the Astros from that fate. Since then, they have won their series against Texas after dropping the opener, so they are on a 3-game winning streak that has pushed them back over .500.

The Blue Jays have yet to lose a series this season and they look to have the advantage in this first game of their rematch with Houston. Yusei Kikuchi might not be in great form, but there are glimpses of the pitcher he can be and it is not like Jose Urquidy is pitching great either. This is a rare spot in which you can smartly take the Blue Jays on the money line at home. The premium is low. Take Toronto.

NHL: Vegas Golden Knights vs St. Louis Blues – Over 6 goals (-120), 8:05 pm ET

Goaltender Logan Thompson was the guy Vegas was riding on to take them to the playoffs, so after a number of consecutive starts, it is likely he will be on the bench in a game that doesn’t matter. With an inexperienced goaltender in net for Vegas, a very good Blues offense should light them up. Vegas can also chip into this game total, because they have the offensive ability. Take the over.

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies -1 (-110) vs Minnesota Timberwolves, 9:00 pm ET

The Timberwolves have only themselves to blame for being in this situation. Games 3 and 5 could have both been won if they stayed more disciplined, but that’s why inexperienced teams often fail at this level. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards had 28 and 22 in the loss on Wednesday, and the pressure is on them to deliver another big performance if the Wolves want to force a Game 7. History is not on their side, though, as the road favorite in Game 6 has covered in 28 of 39 games since the 2004-2005 NBA season.

No 1st round series has gone 7 games this year and I don’t think this one will either. Memphis is just a more polished team and they have experience closing out teams from last season, which is really valuable in these situations. Back the road team.
