We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Sunday, including picks from the MLB and EPL. Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +959 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Leicester City ML (+105) over Brentford, 9:00 am ET

Leicester have been quiet in the transfer market this summer but the upside is that their manager Brendan Rodgers should have a fairly settled side for the opening day of their season, and they should be backed to make a winning start against Brentford.

The Bees should be confident of steering clear of relegation again but they face a tough first test on the road at Leicester, who finished 8th last season and picked up 10 of their 14 league wins at the King Power Stadium.

EPL: Manchester United vs Brighton – Both teams to score (-120), 9:00 am ET

Manchester United has favored a proactive possession-based style under new manager Erik ten Hag in preseason games and a similar approach in the Premier League opener against Brighton could lead to goals.

Brighton also plays an attractive brand of soccer under manager Graham Potter and road wins at Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as the rout of the Red Devils late last term, suggest they have the quality to cause plenty of problems in an entertaining contest.

MLB: Houston Astros ML (-140) over Cleveland Guardians, 12:05 pm ET

The Cleveland Guardians are at an immediate disadvantage due to the pitching matchup. Not just because Triston McKenzie has been struggling, but because Framber Valdez is a lefty. Cleveland has been one of the worst lineups against southpaws all season as they rank 29th in OPS and wRC+ against left-handed pitchers.

Valdez is no ordinary lefty either, as he earned an all-star nomination this season and has a 2.87 ERA through 135 innings. The southpaw is the definition of a ground-ball pitcher as 68.5% of balls put in play against him are on the ground. I’m surprised to see how reasonably priced the Astros are for the series finale, so back Houston.

MLB: Chicago White Sox ML (-155) over Texas Rangers, 2:35 pm ET

After Texas stole the series between these teams earlier in the season, Chicago should be able to get some revenge. They should be able to do so with the combination of a healthier lineup, while facing Rangers starter Spencer Howard. The Rangers righty spent more than 2 months on the injured list before returning at the beginning of July. Since then, the team has lost 4 of his last 6 starts, defeating only the A’s and Angels, two of the few teams worse than Texas in the American League. He’s also coming off his worst start, allowing 6 runs to the Orioles in just 4.0 innings, the second time the Rangers have lost to them since his return.

Meanwhile, Sox starter Lucas Giolito is coming off of a start in which Chicago won 9-2. He hasn’t had the best run support this season, but that should change today to help him and the team close out this series with a win.
