We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Tuesday night; it includes action from the MLB and Champions League.

Three picks are taken from the MLB with one pick from the Champions League. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1374 with DraftKings; that’s more than 13/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

Champions League: Manchester City vs PSG – Tie (+240), 3pm ET

Europe’s biggest two financial juggernauts meet in Champions League Group A this week but neither Paris Saint-Germain nor Manchester City stands out as a clear favorite to win the game and a tie looks the best bet.

Both sides showed vulnerability on the opening matchday of the new Champions League campaign. PSG was held to a 1-1 tie away to Club Brugge despite opening the scoring after 15 minutes and the Ligue 1 giants lost the shot count 16-9 in Belgium. City won 6-3 against Leipzig but the manner in which they conceded 3 times in 29 minutes is a cause for concern.

City coach Pep Guardiola could again be missing key players for the trip to the Parc des Princes and this game could be tight. These teams are more than capable of winning their other contests in this group so they may be happy to settle for a point each.

MLB: Boston Red Sox -1.5 (-165) vs Baltimore Orioles, 7:05pm ET

Boston starter Chris Sale is 5-0 since returning from injury. The Red Sox have won all but 1 of his starts but he has not been as dominant as in the past. In just 7 starts he has 2 wins against Baltimore, so it is hard to bet against him in this spot. Orioles lefty Bruce Zimmerman is making his first appearance since June 13. Prior to that he was not giving the O’s anything special and Boston has hit him pretty well over a couple of starts — 12 innings with 6 runs allowed.

Boston still need wins and Sale is the best starter they have. The Sox are the visitors, so taking them on the run line makes more sense as they will not get robbed of an at-bat. Take Boston.

MLB: Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Francisco Giants -1.5 (-130), 9:45pm ET

The San Francisco Giants lead the Dodgers by 2.0 games in the NL West, and they have a favorable matchup in this series against the Diamondbacks. It also helps San Francisco’s cause that Logan Webb will be on the mound in this one. The Giants are 19-5 in his 24 starts on the year. In his last home start, Webb tossed 7.0 strong innings and allowed just 2 runs on 6 hits against the Braves. On the season, he is 5-0 with a minuscule 1.76 ERA and .208 BAA at Oracle Park.

Luke Weaver gets the nod for Arizona. The Arizona right-hander is 0-4 with a 7.94 ERA and .299 BAA on the road this season. The D-Backs are 1-4 in those 5 road starts, and the Giants have been tough to beat in their own ballpark. The Giants are 14-2 against the D-Backs this season, and they should be able to keep that success rolling on Tuesday. Back the Giants -1.5.

MLB: San Diego Padres vs Los Angeles Dodgers ML (-190), 10:10pm ET

Yu Darvish has been one of the worst pitchers in Major League Baseball since the beginning of July, posting a 6.78 ERA and a 5.15 FIP in his last 13 trips to the hill. The Dodgers should be able to generate plenty of run-scoring opportunities against Darvish.

Walker Buehler has faded in the National League Cy Young race, but he remains one of the game’s premier pitchers. Through 31 turns in the rotation in 2021, he has posted a 2.58 ERA, 3.16 xERA, and a 3.25 FIP. He has been even more dominant in his last 14 starts with a 2.68 ERA and a 2.91 WHIP.

Bettors should expect a dominant performance from Buehler on Tuesday against an anemic San Diego offense that ranks 25th in OPS and 26th in ISO since the trade deadline.
