The Knicks are a win away from going to the NBA Finals. The question now is whether or not the broom gets taken out in Cleveland? New York has looked unstoppable thus far since trailing the Atlanta Hawks 2-1 in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs. Since then, 10 straight wins, all by emphatic margins. Narratives aside, there is also plenty of value to be found in Game 4, if you are looking to make a Same Game Parlay.

We can try to break this down in a variety of facets, but this one is simple: Cleveland is outmatched. That is why the Game 4 line flipped to the Knicks being favored, despite this being a close-out game where the difficulty level rises. That is also precisely why this is the wrong time to back the Cavaliers to force a “Gentleman’s Sweep”. The Knicks have repeatedly shown they can dictate physicality, control tempo, and grind opponents down defensively. Since the Cavs have had no answer in the first 3 games, why assume that changes now?
Cleveland’s offense thrives when games open up and perimeter shots fall consistently. New York’s entire blueprint is preventing exactly that. If the Knicks impose their preferred style, they not only win — they separate. This has literally played out in the last 2 outings and served as the difference maker in Game 1 when it counted. Lay the points.

This total directly ties into the expected game script and stylistic clash between these teams. The Knicks’ identity is a defense-first basketball team. Their physicality, rebounding, and ability to slow pace are what allow them to control games against explosive offensive opponents like Cleveland. The Knicks just so happen to also have offensive upside, too.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, are still fundamentally an offense-oriented team, even if their defensive posture has improved during the postseason. Cleveland is most dangerous when transition opportunities and perimeter shooting fuel momentum swings. New York’s objective is to eliminate those stretches entirely. Expect longer offensive sets, more deliberate half-court execution, and increased defensive intensity on both ends. If the Knicks are going to cover the spread, they almost certainly do so by dragging Cleveland into a physical, slower-paced contest, and letting attrition do the heavy lifting. That directly correlates with the under. The fewer possessions available, the more difficult it becomes for Cleveland to generate offensive runs. If New York controls tempo as expected, this game profiles far closer to a low-scoring affair than a shootout, even if New York dominates throughout.

Who else would we turn to? If there is one player built for this environment, it is Jalen Brunson. This is precisely the type of setting where Brunson tends to elevate not only his own production, but the entire squad around him. For New York to advance, the ball will be in his hands constantly, creating opportunities across every statistical category.
The scoring upside is obvious. Brunson has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to take over games late, particularly when the Knicks need stability offensively. But what makes this PRA angle especially attractive is the expanded pathway to production. Increased ball-handling responsibility naturally leads to more assists as Brunson orchestrates offense and creates open looks for teammates. Then there are the smaller winning plays that define closing out a series, such as securing key rebounds, diving for loose balls, and making hustle plays defensively. Brunson contributes there as well despite his size. In a game where Mike Brown is likely to lean heavily on his leader, minutes volume alone becomes a major factor. Quite simply, if New York wins this game, Brunson will almost certainly be at the center of everything they do to get it done. That makes the PRA prop worth a look for the third leg.
