KBO picks and predictions

Friday’s slate features plenty of opportunities for value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Hanwha Eagles vs LG Twins -1.5 (+120)

On Friday morning, the Twins will plan to start Lee Min-Ho. He has had just an average season, posting a record of 6-6 with an ERA of 4.40. He has been much better against the Eagles and should be in good position here for a solid outing. The Eagles will counter with Kim Min-Woo, who has also been just average this season. He is 10-7 this year and has an ERA of 4.04. His track record against Hanwha is not great, which looks like it might be the biggest difference here.

The Twins’ pitcher may be average overall, but he has dominated the Eagles. For that reason, backing the Twins to win this game comfortably will be the top play.

Kia Tigers vs Kiwoom Heroes – Under 7.5 (+104)

The total is set pretty low here, but a low scoring game still looks likely. Despite having a poor ERA overall, Im Gi-Yeong is more than capable of slowing down the Heroes. At least from what we have seen from him when he pitches against this Kiwoom squad. Though this is just 1 start, but it was somewhat recent and he allowed just 1 run over 5.2 innings (1.59 ERA).

The same can be said for Eric Jokisch when he faces the Tigers. Jokisch has just 2 starts against Kia, but has still allowed just 2 runs over 11.0 innings. These two guys faced each other just a few weeks ago and it was a pitchers’ duel for the most part until the Kia bullpen came in. Therefore, backing this to be a low scoring game looks to be the best play here.

Doosan Bears -1.5 (-110) vs NC Dinos

The Bears will start Walker Lockett on Friday, who is having a solid season. He is 7-8 on the season, but has an ERA of 2.89. The Dinos will start Song Myung-Gi, who has not had a great season at all. He has a record of 6-6 on the season and his ERA is 5.73.

The Bears are in great form at the moment and have the clear pitching advantage in Friday’s game. Because Myung-Gi has struggled pretty much the entire season, backing the Bears to win on the run line will be the top play.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a 3-team parlay which pays out at +756.
