KBO picks and predictions

Saturday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Lotte Giants/Kia Tigers Over 10.5 Runs (-112)

I am looking for a ton of runs here as we have two not so great pitchers starting this game. Seung-heon Lee is the guy for the Giants and he is 0-1 on the season with an ERA of 7.71. He only has a couple starts, but still managed to allow six runs over 4.2 innings last time out. The Tigers will start Min-woo Lee, who is 6-8 with an ERA of 5.84. He has allowed 18 runs over his last 23.0 innings.

The over 3-0 in the last three games for the Lotte Giants and  3-2 in the last five games for the Tigers. As a result, I will expect runs and will take the over.

SK Wyverns/Samsung Lions Under 10.5 Runs (-122)

I will be looking to back the recent success of the two starters here as the Wyverns will be starting Young-woo Jo and the Lions will start David Buchanan. Buchanan is 14-6 on the season with an ERA of 3.62. He has allowed a total of three runs over his last 12.0 innings or two starts. More impressively, Buchanan is 4-0 against the Wyverns with an ERA of 1.29.

Jo on the other hand, is 2-1 with a 5.63. Though he is pitching better recently, allowing two runs over his last 10.1 innings. The under is 3-2 over each of these teams last five games, so I will look for the under here as well.

Kiwoom Heroes/Doosan Bears Under 9.5 Runs (-128)

Starting here for the Bears will be Raul Alcantara. He has been by far the best pitcher for Doosan, posting an ERA of 2.97 with a record of 13-2. His last five starts have not been as good, but he has still allowed just 11 runs over his last 30.0 innings. Kiwoom will start Seung-ho Lee, who is 5-5 with an ERA of 4.79. His last five starts have been very good, allowing eight runs over his last 28.2 innings.

Alcantara is 1-0 with a 0.69 ERA against the Heroes this year, allowing one run over 13.0 innings. Lee is 1-0 against the Bears with an ERA of 2.00. He has allowed two runs over 9.0 innings. The under is 3-2 in the last five head to head meetings, so I would look for this one to stay under the total with two pitchers performing extremely well.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +513.
