KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s six-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Hanwha Eagles/Lotte Giants Over 10.5 Runs (-104)

Going right back to another over here as two more lackluster pitchers are set to take the mound. For the Eagles, it will be Warwick Saupold, who is 6-10 on the season with an ERA of 5.42. His last couple of starts have been abysmal, having allowed 22 runs over his last five starts across 24.1 innings. He has also been dreadful against the Giants, going 0-3 against them with an ERA of 6.50.

His opposition will be Adrian Sampson, who is 4-7 with an ERA of 6.79. He has also looked terrible over his last five starts, having allowed 21 over his last 19.2 innings. The over is 4-1 in the last five game for the Giants and I will back it here.

Doosan Bears/LG Twins Over 9.5 Runs (-112)

Doosan’s offense have been crushing the ball as of late, averaging 7.2 runs over their last five games. Their defense however has allowed  5.6 runs per game over the same stretch. The Twins have been a little less productive offensively, averaging 4.4 runs over their last five games, while allowing 4.0 runs. The over is 4-0 in Doosan’s last four games and 7-5 in their 12 head to head meetings with the Twins.

Kiwoom Heroes Money Line (-190)

The Heroes have a distinct pitching advantage here as Jake Brigham will take the mound. He is 4-2 with an ERA of 3.62. He has especially been good over his last three fights, allowing a combined two runs over his last 18.0 innings.

Ben Lively will start for the Lions and he is just 2-6 with a 5.36 ERA. He has allowed 11 runs over his last 15.0 innings. The Heroes have won four of the last five head to head meetings and I think the pitching of Brigham will be too much for the Lions.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +466.
