KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Kia Tigers -1.5 Run Line (-122)

We will be fading the SK Wyverns pitcher here as Geon-wook Lee gets the start. He is  6-10 on the season with an ERA of 5.71. He has especially been bad over his last five starts, allowing 20 runs over his last 23.2 innings pitched.

Drew Gagnon will be the starter for the Tigers and he is 10-6 with an ERA of 3.93. He has been much better as of late, allowing eight runs over his last 30.1 innings pitched. The Tigers are 9-6 against the Wyverns this season and I look for this one to be a comfortable win for the Tigers so they can get back into the playoffs.

NC Dinos/LG Twins Under 10.5 Runs (-118)

The Dinos have basically been in first place all season, so even if they lose a few down the stretch, it will not change their position. Starting this game for the Dinos will be Young-gyu Kim. He is 2-1 on the season with an ERA of 4.95. His last five starts have looked much better, allowing eight runs over his last 25.0 innings. The Twins will start Nam Ho, who has an ERA of 2.25. He only has four appearances this season, but in his lone start, he allowed just one run over 5.0 innings.

The under is 4-1 in the last five games for the Twins and 4-1 in the last five head to head meetings. The Twins are also allowing just 1.2 runs over their last five games. The Dinos are scoring just 3.2 runs over their last five games, so they have not been the same offense right now.

Samsung Lions Money Line (-156)

Looking to back Samsung here as they will start Ben Lively. He is only 4-7 on the season, but has a decent ERA of 3.88. He has been very good over his last five starts, allowing eight runs over his last 33.0 innings. Against the Giants, has an ERA against 3.60, so pretty decent as well.

This is compared to the starter for the Lotte Giants, who is Se-woong Park. He is 8-7, but has an ERA of 4.29. He has not been good against the Lions, posting an ERA of 5.79. With the difference in pitching, I am going to back Samsung here to win.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +451.
