KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Lotte Giants Money Line (-104)

Even though they are facing the top team in the Dinos, Dan Straily gets the ball and will look to continue his fantastic season. Straily is 13-4 with an ERA of 2.61. He has allowed seven runs over his last 34.0 innings.

The NC Dinos will start Mike Wright, who has been decent at times, but still has an ERA of 4.85. He has especially struggled over his last five starts, allowing 20 runs over his last 24.0 innings. I just cannot fade Straily at this price, so I will gladly take Lotte to beat the Dinos here.

Doosan Bears/Kiwoom Heroes Under 8.5 Runs (-104)

Two of the top pitchers in the entire KBO will face off here and we will be looking to back a low scoring game. The Bears will start Raul Alcantara, who is 17-2 with an ERA of 2.67. He has especially been good against the Heroes, posting an ERA of 0.45.

His counterpart will be Eric Jokisch, who has a record of 12-5 with an ERA of 2.02 for the Kiwoom Heroes. Jokisch has allowed five runs over his last five starts. That is over a span of 30.1 innings. I will look for a pitchers duel, and will take the under.

Samsung Lions/Hanwha Eagles Over 9.5 Runs (-104)

We have two horrible pitchers here in this game, which should in turn lead to a ton of runs. The Samsung Lions will start Seung-min Lee, who is 0-2 with an ERA of 9.20. Against the Eagles in general, he has an ERA of 13.50.

The Eagles will counter with Ee-whan Kim, who is 2-6 with an ERA of 6.43. His last five starts have seen him allow 13 runs over his last 20.2 innings.

While the offenses have not exactly been great, I still think with the lack of quality on the mound, we will see plenty of scoring.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +654.
