  • Samsung Lions (+170) @ Kia Tigers (-210)

KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s two-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

KT Wiz Money Line (-118)

The KT Wiz will be starting Je-seong Bae, who is 9-6 with an ERA of 4.11. His last six starts have seen him allow seven runs over 29.2 innings. The Giants will counter with Adrian Sampson, who is 8-11 with an ERA of 5.43. His last six starts have seen him allow 20 runs over 33.0 innings. The KT Wiz have struggled against the Giants this season, but I do believe they have the clear pitching matchup, so I will back the KT Wiz.

Lotte Giants/KT Wiz Over 9.5 Runs (-128)

The over looks like a decent play given how these pitchers have fared against their respective opponents. Though Bae has been better as of late, he has an ERA of 4.30 against the Giants. This is over a span of five starts where he has allowed 14 runs. Sampson has an ERA of 5.40 against the KT Wiz, allowing six runs over two starts. The over is 5-1 in their last six head to head meetings and 9-6 in their last 15 meetings. The KT Wiz are averaging 7.6 runs per game over their last five games, so I am going to look for a ton of runs to be scored here and will take the over.

Samsung Lions/Kia Tigers Over 9.5 Runs (-128)

We will look to fade two lackluster pitchers here as the Lions will start Seung-min Lee. He is 1-2 on the season with an ERA of 7.97. Lee only has four starts this season, where he has allowed 13 runs over 17.1 innings. He has not faced the Kia Tigers this season.

The Tigers will start Ki-young Im, who is 8-10 with an ERA of 5.48. Against the Lions, he is 3-1 with an ERA of 5.23. That is over a span of four starts where he has allowed 12 runs. The Tigers are averaging 5.6 runs over their last five games, while allowing 6.6 runs. The Lions are averaging 6.6 runs over their last five games, so I will take the over here.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +486.
