KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Doosan Bears -1.5 Run Line (-106)

Starting on Sunday for the Kia Tigers will be Ki-young Im. He is 7-9 on the season with an ERA of 5.38. His last five starts have been awful however, allowing 22 runs over his last 23.2 innings.

On the other side will be Duk-joo Ham for the Doosan Bears. He is 4-1 with an ERA of 3.94. He only has four starts this season and they have not been great. He has allowed nine runs over his last 19.0 innings and is 1-0 as starter. Doosan is 11-3 against the Tigers, so I will back them here on the run line.

LG Twins/KT Wiz Over 9.5 Runs (-112)

I will be looking to fade two decent pitchers, but two pitchers who have struggled as of recently. Tyler Wilson will make the start for the Twins and he is 10-8 with an ERA of 4.44. His last five starts have seen him allow 20 runs over 30.0 innings. He also has an ERA of 4.50 against the KT Wiz.

William Cuevas will start on the other side for the KT Wiz. He is 10-6 on the season with an ERA of 3.76. His last five starts have been a little better than his opponents, allowing 13 runs over his last 34.1 innings. More so the issue is that he has an ERA of 5.14 against the Twins.

Kiwoom Heroes/SK Wyverns Under 9.5 Runs (-118)

We will be looking to back two solid pitchers here, at least to keep these offenses in check. Jake Brigham will get the ball for the Heroes and he is 8-4 this season with an ERA of 3.90. Over just one start against the Wyverns, he has allowed zero runs in 5.0 innings.

Seung-won Moon will start on the other side for the Wyverns and he is 5-8 with an ERA of 3.83. Against the Heroes, he has made three starts. He has yet to earn a decision against them, but has an ERA of 3.63 and has allowed seven runs over 17.1 innings. Both teams are averaging less than 5.0 runs over their last five games, so I will look for both of them to continue pitching well enough to keep this one under.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +579.
