KBO picks and predictions

Sunday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

KIA Tigers Money Line (-108)

The Tigers are expected to start Aaron Brooks in this spot, one of their better pitchers this season. Brooks is 9-4 this season, posting an ERA of 2.61. His last four starts have been impressive, allowing just eight runs over his last 27.1 innings.

On the other side, will be Myung-gi Song for the NC Dinos. He is 3-1 this season with an ERA of 3.72. He has mostly come out of the bullpen, making just four starts on the season. Over those four starts, he has allowed seven runs over 19.1 innings.

This game is essentially a pick em’ and I am inclined to take the Tigers here because Brooks looks like the much better pitcher and has much more experience this season.

Lotte Giants Money Line (-120)

Pretty easy here as were are looking to fade Ricardo Pinto and the SK Wyverns. Pinto is 4-12 with an ERA of 6.93. He has lost seven of his last eight starts, allowing six or more runs in six of those starts. Then you factor in that he has an ERA of 9.82 against this Lotte team and is a must fade.

Se-woong Park is the starter for the Giants and he is 7-6 with an ERA of 4.49 this season. Further he is 0-1 with an ERA of 2.77 against the Wyverns, so I will back him here to win this game.

Doosan Bears/Kiwoom Heroes Under 10.5 Runs (-112)

We will be looking for a lower scoring game here as the Bears and Heroes get together on Sunday morning. Seung-ho Lee will start for this Kiwoom team, posting an ERA of 4.98 and a record of 4-5. He has allowed six runs over his last four starts. That is over a stretch of 24.2 innings.

His opponent will be Duk-joo Ham for the Doosan Bears, who is 4-1 with an ERA of 3.09. He has made just one start this season, but pitched a shutout over 6.0 innings. Also, having not faced the Heroes, he should have success early, which has me leaning towards an under.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +568.
