KBO picks and predictions

Thursday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Lotte Giants Money Line (+120)

I will be looking towards the underdog here as I believe they have the better pitcher. Kyung-eun Noh will make the start for the Giants and has a record of 4-7 with an ERA of 4.85. He has been a little better over his last five starts, allowing nine runs over 19.0 innings. He has also yet to face this LG Twins team, which should give him an early advantage.

The Twins will be countering with Chan-gyu Lim. He is 9-7 with an ERA of 4.35 this season. Though his last five starts have not been as solid, allowing 14 runs over 20.0 innings. These teams have split their 12 head to head meetings, but the Giants have won two of their last three games against the Twins. As a result, I will look to the underdog here.

Doosan Bears/Hanwha Eagles Over 10.5 Runs (-120)

We are once again going to fade the starting pitchers here as Hui-kwan Yu will start here for the Doosan Bears. Yu is 8-10 on the season with an ERA of 5.29. Though over his last five starts, he has allowed 16 runs over 21.0 innings. That gives him an ERA of 6.86 during this stretch, so clearly he is struggling. Yu has struggled even more against the Eagles, posting an ERA of 7.88.

The Eagles will start Ee-whan Kim, who is 1-5 with a 6.80 ERA. His last five starts have also resulted in a ton of struggles, allowing 14 runs over his last 14.2 innings.

SK Wyverns/NC Dinos Over 11.5 Runs (+104)

The NC Dinos will start Myung-gi Song here, looking for the three-game sweep. Song is 4-3 with an ERA of 4.09. His last seven starts have been pretty average, allowing 16 runs over his last 35.0 innings.

The Wyverns will counter with Ricardo Pinto, who has been awful this season. He has a record of 5-13 with an ERA of 6.08. To be fair, his last three starts have been much better, but over his last seven starts overall, he has allowed 26 runs over his last 40.0 innings. This gives him an ERA of 5.85 during that stretch.

Based on how well the Dinos are seeing the ball, I will take the over and look for the Dinos to do most of the scoring.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +722.
