KBO picks and predictions

Tuesday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Hanwha Eagles/Samsung Lions Under 9.5 Runs (-116)

I cannot believe I am saying this, but I am going back to game where Chad Bell is starting. Bell being the Hanwha Eagles pitcher, who is 2-8 with a 6.13 ERA. He had a run of three starts recently where he allowed one run over 19.0 innings. During this stretch, he faced Samsung twice, shutting them out both times over a combined 13.0 innings. He now has a record of 1-1 against the Lions with an ERA of 1.45.

Chae-heung Choi will start for the Lions and he is 6-5 with a 4.27 ERA. His last three starts have seen him allow four runs over his last 13.0 innings pitched. What is more impressive is how he has pitched against the Eagles. Over two starts, Choi is 1-0 against Hanwha, posting an ERA of 0.75.

Hanwha has continued to lack offense, scoring an average of just 4.0 runs over their last five games. The under is 4-1 in the last five head to head meetings and I will back it again here.

Kiwoom Heroes Money Line (-128)

Fading the Wyverns pitcher here in Ricardo Pinto. He has been awful this season, going 4-12 on the season with an ERA of 6.57. What is worse is that he is 0-2 against Kiwoom with an ERA of 12.96. Pinto has also lost eight of his last nine starts, allowing 50 runs over his last 43.2 innings pitched, giving him an ERA of 7.86 over this stretch.

Jae-woong Kim is the starter for Kiwoom and he is 0-3 with an ERA of 2.93. He mainly comes out of the bullpen, but has made four starts, allowing five runs over 12.1 innings. This game really comes down to wanting no part of Pinto, so I will back Kiwoom here to win.

Lotte Giants/NC Dinos Under 10.5 runs (+104)

Starting this game for the NC Dinos will be Myung-gi Song. He is 2-1 on the season with a 3.71 ERA. Song almost exclusively came out of the bullpen up until recently when he was inserted into the starting rotation. He has made a total of three starts this season, going 1-1 with an ERA of  3.14 as a starter.

Starting for the Giants will be Seung-jun Song. He is 2-1 with an ERA of 4.44. Song will be making his first start this season, pitching only out of the bullpen so far this season. He has pitched a total of 1.0 inning against the Dinos and did not allow a run.

The Dinos have seen the under cash in four of their last five games and have also seen their offensive production dip to 4.4 runs per game over their last five. In their brief appearances against each others team, neither guy has allowed a run, so I am going to look for a low scoring game and take the under.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +576.
