KBO picks and predictions

Wednesday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Lotte Giants/SK Wyverns Over 10.5 Runs (-102)

Game one may have stayed under the total but that is because the SK Wyverns did absolutely nothing offensively. The starting pitchers for Wednesday suggest the Wyverns might have more success. Starting this game for the Giants will be Won-sam Jang. He is 0-2 on the season, but has posted an awful 7.59 ERA. In four starts, he has been worse, posting an ERA of 8.38. He will be opposed by Jong-hoon Park, who is 5-6 with a 4.96 ERA. He has allowed at least two runs in every start except for one, so I look for him to get dinged up for a couple as well. As long as the Wyverns can score, this total is bound to go over rather easily.

LG Twins Moneyline (+104)

The Twins are coming off a 15-5 win over the Kia Tigers on Tuesday morning, have won four of their last five games, sit in fourth place in the KBO standings and still find themselves as an underdog in Wednesday’s game. It would be different if the Tigers were starting an elite pitcher, but they have Hyun-jong Yang on the mound, who is 6-6 on the year with an ERA of 5.88. That being compared to the Twins starter, Min-ho Lee, who is 2-2 with a 2.00 ERA. Unless something crazy happens, I do not see the Twins losing this game, so I gladly take the Twins in a small upset.

NC Dinos/Hanwha Eagles Over 10.5 Runs (-110)

Runs are usually not an issue for the NC Dinos as they are averaging 6.4 runs per game on average this year. That however, has drastically changed over the last five games, as the Dinos have seen their scoring increase to 7.4 runs per game, but they are allowing 8.4 runs per game. Even Hanwha is doing a decent job at scoring recently, averaging 5.2 runs per game over their last five. The over is 4-0 in the last four games for the NC Dinos and I would lean that way again here.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +671.
