KBO picks and predictions

Wednesday’s five-game slate will feature some lopsided matchups that offer value. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

SK Wyverns/LG Twins Over 8.5 Runs (-110)

The Twins will start Tyler Wilson in this game, who is 9-7 with an ERA of 4.26. He has been struggling as of late however, allowing 17 runs over his last 25.0 innings.

The Wyverns will counter with Seung-won Moon, who is 5-7 with an ERA of 3.81. His last four starts have seen him allow seven runs over 23.0 innings, so a pretty decent stretch of games. He also has been decent at best against the Wyverns in general, allowing five runs over the 11.0 innings he has faced them.

The over is 4-1 in the Twins’ last five games, 3-2 in the Wyverns’ last five games and 5-0 in their last five head to head meetings.

KT Wiz/Lotte Giants Under 10.5 Runs (-116)

We will be looking for a pitchers’ duel here as the William Cuevas makes the start for the KT Wiz an Adrian Sampson starts for the Lotte Giants. Cuevas is 8-6 on the season with an ERA of 3.87. His last five starts have overall been very good, allowing 12 runs over his last 33.1 innings. One of these starts included a game where he allowed eight runs over just 4.2 innings to the NC Dinos, but considering they are the league’s best team, the rest of his starts during this stretch have been lights out.

Sampson is 5-9 on the season with an ERA of 5.42. Though his last five starts do not reflect those numbers, allowing 12 runs over his last 30.1 innings. He has one start against the KT Wiz, pitching a 6.0 shutout against them. Because of the success of each of these guys recently, I will take the under.

Kiwoom Heroes Money Line (-132)

The Heroes will start Jake Brigham here and he will be the guy we are looking to back. Brigham is 7-3 on the season with an ERA of 3.92. His last five starts have been overall very good, allowing 13 runs over his last 30.1 innings. Brigham has one start against the Tigers, and has not allowed a run against them.

Ki-young Im will start for the Kia Tigers and he has not fared as well, posting a record of 7-8 with an ERA of 4.69. He has allowed 18 runs over his last 25.2 innings. Im has one start against Kiwoom, allowing three runs over 5.1 innings.

For those of you looking for bigger payouts, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +524.
