There are not a ton of days on the sports calendar in which the MLB dominates sporting news headlines. But trade deadline day does happen to be one of those days. Some fanbases have a rejuvenated hope for their team while others are ready for the season to be over with. There is plenty to watch for on Tuesday be it familiar faces in new uniforms, solid starting pitching matchups, or division rivalry games between teams competing for first place.

If you are looking to have some action, check out our mega parlay below. You can also read our MLB predictions for picks on the side and total of every game.

Angels ML (+205)

The Angels are a team that have added plenty of familiar faces in the past week. They have enjoyed a good stretch of baseball which led to them deciding to be buyers. That stretch continued on Monday as the Angels beat the Braves 4-1 in this series opener. With that, the Angels are now 10-3 in their last 13 games. Things could have spiraled out of control after consecutive losses to Toronto by a combined score of 10-2. But Los Angeles has bounced back with strong wins against Toronto and Atlanta.

Spencer Strider will not make things easy on the Angels’ lineup, but his counterpart — Patrick Sandoval — is also pitching well right now. Sandoval has allowed 4 earned runs in his last 17.1 innings pitched across 3 starts. Are the Braves the all around better team? Probably, yes. But right now the Angels are rolling and this +205 is fantastic value.

Guardians vs Astros Over 8.5 (-105)

The over has been hot for both the Guardians and Astros lately. The total has gone over in 4 of the Astros’ last 5 games, as well as in 5 of their last 7 at home. It has also gone over in 6 of the Guardians’ last 9 games on the road. These teams have both put up and allowed very lopsided numbers in the past couple of weeks. The volatility has led to high game totals which is trending until things change with either team.

The starting pitching matchup appears to reinforce a high total. Framber Valdez will start for the Astros and rookie Gavin Williams will start for the Guardians. Valdez has historically been very good but has been touched up lately to the tune of 15 earned runs in his last 15 innings pitched across 3 starts. Williams has not been hit very hard, but has not been efficient lately and may have a short leash.

Diamondbacks vs Giants Under 7.5 (-120)

Low totals have been prominent for both the Diamondbacks and Giants all season and things have not changed much lately. The total has gone under in 7 out of the Giants’ last 8 games and in 10 out of their last 11 at home. The under has also hit in 5 out of the Diamondbacks’ last 6 games. In their respective last 10 games, the over under record is 5-15 combined.

The starting pitching matchup features a couple of seasoned veterans in Zac Gallen for Arizona and Alex Cobb for San Francisco. Cobb has a sub-3.00 ERA and will be facing a team that has lost 8 out of its last 11 games. Things have not been as great for Gallen lately, but he is as capable as any pitching of bouncing back. In his only start against the Giants this season, Gallen went 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs. This one looks to set up for a low total.
