Monday NBA five-team mega parlay (+2514 odds): Warriors and Jazz primed for quick start

Stephen Curry parlay

The NBA has given us a six-game slate tonight and it looks like a fun one. We’re going to see ten teams that still have a shot at the playoffs which is always nice. Two of the games (Wizard/Hawks and Jazz/Warriors) will be on NBA TV. I don’t know about you but when this happens, I like to toss out a five-team mega parlay. It’s a little known fact that you can’t win if you don’t bet. This is what I am looking at parlay wise for tonight’s slate.

Don’t just read about this parlay though. You’d be crazy to do that! Our team has put together picks on the side and total of all six games on the NBA slate tonight. You can also follow me on Twitter for any other bets I might throw out throughout the day.

Spurs team total under 27.5 *1st Q (-128)

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing as fast as anyone in the first quarter of games lately but that may not matter tonight. The San Antonio Spurs are in the kind of scoring slump you read about and aren’t likely to break out tonight. They haven’t gone over this total in five straight games and that includes a date with the lowly Sacramento Kings. Even though Milwaukee plays fast, the Spurs are likely to anchor the pace as they play the fourth slowest of any NBA team in the first quarter of games over the last five. This should kick start our parlay.

Pacers team total over 30.5 *1st Q (-108)

Over the past five games, no team in the NBA has played faster than the Indiana Pacers. They play like they are double parked and that has led to them averaging 33.4 points per first quarter in their last five games. Tonight they get a Cleveland Cavaliers team that could care less about playing basketball at this point. They are sitting half their team tonight which bodes well for the Pacers who are suddenly almost heathy. Look for Indiana to make it rain in the first quarter tonight and keep the parlay alive.

Pelicans team total under 55.5 *1st Half (-118)

Unders are almost never fun but this one might be. The Pelicans are missing literally everyone at this point and it will be hard for them to reach this total against a slow Grizzlies team. In two games without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Steven Adams, the Pelicans only got this number in one of them. That was against a Charlotte Hornets team that has been playing at a top five pace in the first half of games. Tonight they get the Grizzlies who are playing at the second slowest pace in the first half over the past few games. The Pelicans are a good bet to not be efficient enough to drop 56 points in the first half tonight. Our parlay should be safe here.

Wizards vs Hawks over 60.5 *1st Q (-118)

With no Bradely Beal, it’s hard to expect the Wizards to not miss a beat but I think they’ll be fine in the early going. As long as Russell Westbrook is around, they should be able to keep their heads above water. They will likely be extra motivated early on as well. The Hawks are coming off of a “down” start last time so they should be ready to roll tonight. The Wizards should push pace like they always do and Atlanta will likely follow suit. This is the most fun move in our parlay tonight.

Jazz vs Warriors over 111 *1st Half (-110)

This is probably the game of the night and I expect scoring early on. The Warriors are highly likely to push pace as they have been a top ten team in pace in the first quarter over the last five games. They have shot an average of 51 three-pointers per game over the last three as Stephen Curry has been unconscious. They haven’t seen anyone like the Utah Jazz in almost a week as they played their last two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. As a result, they should give up points just as they score them. This one will cash the parlay.
