There are huge playoff implications tonight in New Orleans as the Pelicans take on the Dallas Mavericks. Tonight’s game tips-off at 7:30 PM on ESPN, I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay which you can find below.

I’m attempting to land back-to-back winners and my 3rd SGP in 4 days following last night’s +772 odds Grizzlies vs Lakers Same Game Parlay winner. Don’t forget to check our NBA Predictions page for picks on the side and total for Wednesday’s NBA slate.

Without wasting any more time, let’s jump into my bet now.

C.J. McCollum to Score 25+ Points (+195)

Luka Doncic to Record 10+ Assists (+330)

Same Game Parlay odds: +1089

C.J. McCollum to Score 25+ Points (+195)

I really fancy McCollum to have a solid scoring game tonight since he’s going to be guarded by Kyrie Irving most of the night. Although he isn’t as skilled as Irving, he does have the bigger body he can use to post him up. C.J. is also no stranger to scoring from deep, in home games his season he’s knocking down 40.2% of his attempts from three. He also just had 25 and 24 point games in 2 of his last 3 outings, while against Irving he had 28 points the last time they faced each other.

The bulk of the Pels offense will probably go through Ingram first, but as we saw in the Suns vs Mavericks game this past weekend, the tempo of tonight’s game will be fast and the Pels will need a secondary scoring option to keep up with the high scoring Mavericks. C.J. averages 22.7 points per game in the last 6 meetings with the Mavs on 47% from the field and 44% from three. Twice during that stretch he had games of 7 made threes, so hopefully he can light it up from distance tonight.

Luka Doncic to Record 10+ Assists (+330)

I’m actually surprised we’re getting these odds for Luka to have 10 assists. Kyrie Irving does take some of the usage rate away from Doncic, but the Mavs point guard is capable of getting 10 assists in his sleep if you ask me. The Mavs play a lot better when Luka gets everyone involved, he just had a 12 assist game in the win over Philadelphia a couple of nights ago. Having a minor knee/ankle sprain in his left leg might deter him from attacking the basket, so it’s very likely that Doncic defers a bit to Irving on the scoring front and focuses more on getting others involved.

In 17 career games vs New Orleans, he’s had 10 or more assists 7 times, most recently 2 months ago in a game played in Dallas when he had a triple-double. It’s been a while since he notched one, so it’s not out of the question that tonight is the night. Look for the Mavs to rely on Luka’s playmaking here.
