We have a big matchup in the Eastern Conference as the Brooklyn Nets take on the Philadelphia 76ers in the first of two ESPN double-headers. Tip-off is set for 7.30pm and we have prepared a same game parlay for you.

Check it out below, but make sure you also read our picks on the side and total for all of tonight’s matchups.

Philadelphia 76ers win margin 1 – 10 points (+220)

Kevin Durant over 29.5 points (-110)

James Harden over 8.5 assists (+128)

Parlay odds: +1359

Philadelphia 76ers win margin 1 – 10 points (+220)

Contrary to many headlines circulating in the media, Philadelphia is not a better team with Ben Simmons off the floor, However, this is a group that is certainly still capable of playing well without him in the lineup, as they showed in their season opener. Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris are two legitimate stars on a deep roster with plenty of shooters and capable defenders. They are also well-coached, which is an undervalued aspect of handicapping the NBA. Brooklyn did nothing to inspire bettors to bet on them in this contest. This should be a close contest, so backing the Sixers to win by 1-10 points is solid value.

Kevin Durant over 29.5 points (-110)

Durant started off the season in style, although his team lost by 23 points on opening night. KD had 32 points in just 30 minutes spent on the floor, averaging 52 percent from the field and draining 3 of 6 shots from deep. Without Kyrie Irving, Durant and Harden are responsible for nearly all of the playmaking and scoring on a team without a legitimate third-scoring option. I expect Durant to have a similar output tonight, despite the Sixers having a dominant big man down low in Joel Embiid. If Ben Simmons were available he could cause Durant issues on the defensive end, but since that’s not the case expect a big scoring output from KD here.

James Harden over 8.5 assists (+128)

The keys to the Brooklyn Nets offense belong to James Harden this season as he is now the team’s main point guard and ball handler in Irving’s absence. Last season he finished averaging 10.8 assists per game, but what was more impressive was his assists per minute ratio with the Nets which stood at 3.36 last season. He went over 8.5 assists 25 times in 36 games he suited up for the Nets which is a 69 percent success rate. One more encouraging stat worth pointing out is that he has averaged 9.1 assists in his last 10 meetings against the 76ers.

We all know Harden’s scoring ability is unmatched, but Brooklyn isn’t going to go far if Harden goes one-on-one most of the time. In the season opener, he had eight assists against the Bucks, I’m looking for him to go into double-digits this time around.
