It’s a big game in Miami tonight as the Heat try to stay unbeaten at home against the surprisingly good Charlotte Hornets.

Check out our same-game parlay, but also don’t forget to go through our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Friday’s slate!

Miles Bridges over 19.5 points (-106)

Kyle Lowry under 13.5 points (-106)

LaMelo Ball over 2.5 made threes (+134)

Parlay odds: +763

Miles Bridges over 19.5 points (-106)

I’m actually surprised by the line set for Bridges in this game. He has been absolutely on fire through 5 games and leads his team in scoring with 26.2 points per game. He’s been very efficient from the field, shooting at a 52.7% clip and almost 91% from the free-throw line. He is also a capable shooter from distance, converting on almost 40% of his shots from beyond the arc. Bridges has scored 30+ points in 3 of his last 4 games, he has had only one bad game so far this season and that was against Indiana in the season opener when he had 13. Ever since then it’s been lights-out and I have no reason to believe he can’t get at least 20 points tonight.

Kyle Lowry under 13.5 points (-106)

Lowry has struggled to fit in with the Miami Heat, he’s been in and out of the lineup and is still adjusting to his new surroundings. So far in 3 games he is shooting a pedestrian 29.6% from the field and just 17.6% from 3-point land. He is yet to score in double digits this season, focusing more on distributing the ball and as a result he averages more dimes than points. Until he is fully recovered from his elbow injury, I don’t expect any high-scoring games from Lowry.

LaMelo Ball over 2.5 made threes (+134)

In just 28.2 minutes per game over the first 5 games, Ball has been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season. He’s averaging almost 4 points more per game and what is even more impressive is the fact that his 3-point percentage has improved by 11% over the first week of the new season. He’s currently shooting 46% from distance which would have been the 4th-best mark in the entire league last season, showing just how much he has improved in that area. He’s also drained at least 1 3-pointer in all 5 games so far and has had 2 games in which he went absolutely nuts, scoring 7 of them against Indiana and Boston. Miami is a bit tougher when it comes to defending the paint, so I can see him stepping outside a little bit more than he usually does, so there’s definitely opportunities to make at least 3 shots from distance.
