The Warriors have gained a reputation of resting their starters on the second game of a back-to-back. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins or Draymond Green sit on Tuesday since it is their last game before the All-Star break, and Steve Kerr could elect to give his starters the most rest possible. In Golden State’s most recent back-to-back, they lost by 17 on the road.
Before that one, they sat Steph Curry, Thompson, Wiggins and Green. Fading the Warriors when they play on no rest has been a profitable spot this season, and considering the Clippers have a lot to play for, it’s a great time to expect Golden State to wave the white flag. Los Angeles has had the last 3 days off and will want to finish the first half of the season on a high note to separate themselves in the standings, and I expect them to do that in a big way.

Terance Mann over 1.5 made threes (+152)
If the Clippers are to blow out the Warriors, you’d expect more minutes for guys such as Terance Mann. I really like his chances of getting two threes as he’s been shooting the three-ball at a 43.3% clip over his last 10 outings while averaging 9.3 points. He played 33 minutes in the first meeting against the Warriors, finishing with 17 points and making all 3 of his 3-point attempts. He’s cleared this line twice in his last 5 games, and there will be plenty of room around the perimeter as the Warriors are the 2nd-worst in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage this season when playing on the road, allowing almost 40% of shots made. This should be a high-paced game, so expect a lot of threes to be scored.
Paul George over 22.5 points (-120)
To wrap up the parlay I have PG13 scoring at least 23 points. He’s had a couple of down nights shooting against the Mavericks and Bucks, but tonight against one of the worst defensive road teams in the league he should be able to bounce back. George has successfully cleared this line in 3 of his last 4 against Golden State, and the last time he played them at crypto.com Arena he finished with 30 points. Klay Thompson is expected to match up with him on defense, but after a couple of severe injuries he is no longer the defender he once was, so I’m expecting George to cook him if he plays. Golden State is 6th-worst in the NBA in points allowed in the paint over their last 3 games, allowing 57.3, so if George doesn’t have the 3-point shot going he can always drive to the basket and punish them on the inside. Don’t be surprised if he gets to 30 points.
