It’s the game of the season for the Memphis Grizzlies, who are trying to stay alive in their NBA Playoffs series against the LA Lakers. They were able to avoid elimination on Wednesday, but what happens tonight? Tip-off is at 10:30 pm ET on ESPN, and I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay which is available below.

Head over to our NBA predictions for picks on the side and total for Game 6 of Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors. Let’s dive into my SGP bet now.

Memphis Grizzlies ML (+160)

Desmond Bane 3+ made threes (-240)

Rui Hachimura to score 10+ points (-120)

Memphis Grizzlies ML (+160)

You won’t find many numbers favoring a Grizzlies win. They’ve gone just 2-4 ATS/SU in the last 6 meetings with the Lakers and have just 1 win in their last 9 visits to Crypto.com Arena. So why back them to win? Well, aside from that poor 1st quarter in Game 3, they’ve been very competitive in the 2 games at this venue in this series. Ja Morant also appears to be over his hand injury, and the Grizz are also getting solid contributions from Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane. LA has the individual experience of Anthony Davis and LeBron James to rely on, but I’d give a slight edge to Memphis in overall experience as they’ve had this core for a long time, while the Lakers built their team just 2 months ago at the trade deadline. Let’s hope the Grizzlies can deliver an upset tonight and extend this series.

Desmond Bane 3+ made threes (-240)

Desmond Bane’s productivity has ascended over the last 2 games. He had a 36-point effort in the Game 4 loss in OT, following it up with 33 on Wednesday as the Grizzlies staved off elimination. His three-point shot has been on point all series long as he’s averaging 2.8 makes per game on almost 32%. Those are not the most efficient of numbers, but he’s getting a large volume of attempts up at 8.8 per game. What makes his performances even more remarkable is the fact that he’s doing it against a Lakers team that has held Memphis under 30% shooting from deep in the last 3 games. With a healthy Ja Morant attracting most of the attention on offense, Bane has been able to find some open looks in this series. We can only hope that continues tonight. He has logged 47 and 43 minutes in the last 2 games, with the Grizzlies’ season being on the line, I think he’ll go for another 40+ tonight which should also help in him reaching 3 threes.

Rui Hachimura to score 10+ points (-120)

Although Rui Hachimura has cooled off a bit in his last 2 games, he’s still averaging 16.2 points per game in this series while playing an average of just 26.2 minutes per game. He’s also shooting over 56% from the field and almost 58% from three. That kind of productivity and efficiency for a role player is unheard of. He has shot below 50% from the field in only 1 game in the series. Playing in front of the home fans should help his averages return to normal as that’s just how it goes with bench players in the NBA. If we include the regular season he has scored double-digit points in 7 of 10 games, and it’s pretty hard for me to pass up -120 odds for a bet that lands 70% of the time.
