Jimmy Butler to score 35+ points (+260)

Nobody has impressed me so far in this postseason like Jimmy Butler. Playoff Jimmy is just on a different level than everyone else, averaging 37.6 points on almost 60% efficiency from the field and 44.4% from three. He did all that while averaging 37.2 minutes per game, which makes him arguably the most productive player in the playoffs. Normally not a sound 3-point shooter, Butler averaged 2.4 makes on 5.4 attempts per game as well. It’s just impossible to find a flaw in his game right now and I say we should ride the hot hand today at MSG. As the lights get brighter, Butler’s games improves and what better place than the world’s most famous arena to put on a show? Butler had 35 and 33 points in 2 of the 3 regular-season meetings with the Knicks. After dealing with Jrue Holiday in round 1, he should have an easier time against defenders such as Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and RJ Barrett.

Gabe Vincent 2+ made threes (-310)

Another player who has enjoyed a couple of really solid performances against the Knicks this season is Gabe Vincent. He had 19 and 21 points in late March, and the 21 he scored came in MSG, so that might be an encouraging factor for him to do well today. Losing a 20-point per game scorer in Tyler Herro hasn’t been a devastating blow as some people thought it would. His shots 16-17 shots per game have now been equally distributed between Vincent, Struss and Duncan Robinson, and any one of those 3 players is capable of going off at any given time in this series. Vincent has had a big role in the series against Milwaukee, connecting on 4 threes in 3 of those games and clearing this line in all but one of the games he played in. At 42.4% he was among the team’s leaders in efficiency and if he keeps that up there’s no reason to back him to score 2 threes in this game.

Sunday’s NBA mega parlay has +725 odds!

Julius Randle to score 20+ points (-115)

The performances of Julius Randle could be the key difference in this series for the Knicks. Without him they were able to steamroll past the Cleveland Cavaliers, but against an experienced team like Miami they’ll need everyone to step up. Randle was the points-per-game leader during the regular season, but after an ankle injury late in the season he has struggled with consistency this month. In the 5 games he played against the Cavs he averaged just 14.4 points per game on 33% shooting, but we all know Randle is way better than the numbers have shown. He averaged the 13th-most points per game during the regular season at 25.1, scoring 20+ a total of 56 times in 77 games played. Considering the situation around his injury, we’re getting -115 odds for a bet that lands more than 2/3 of the time and I just cannot pass that up. I also like his matchup against the Heat, who aren’t equipped with as many defensive minded big men as the Cavs were. Against an old Kevin Love and semi-injured Bam Adebayo, Randle should have a solid scoring game.
