Over 217.5 alternate total points (+205)

With Joel Embiid’s injury situation and absence for Game 4, I’m expecting this game to be the highest scoring one of the series. So far the over has landed in just one of the 3 games played, but the Sixers have played so much faster when Embiid isn’t available. In 16 games without its center, Philly had an excellent 120.2 offensive rating. For comparison, the Sacramento Kings led the NBA with a 118.6 offensive rating during the regular season, so we can expect some offensive fireworks from the 76ers here.

The question is, will the Nets be able to match that offensive intensity? I think so. No Embiid in the middle means an open lane to the basket for the likes of Mikal Bridges, Spencer Dinwiddie and Cam Johnson to exploit. Nic Claxton also had a really solid game offensively in Game 3 before he got tossed, so whoever starts in place of Embiid for Philadelphia will have a tough time containing him. I’m not sure who will come out on top, but I’m pretty sure we’ll see a ton of points scored in this one.

Tobias Harris to score 20+ points (+170)

Together with Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers have relied on quite a decent chunk of their offense on Harris in the 3 games played so far. Tobias is averaging 18.7 points per game, up from 14.7 per game from the regular season. His efficiency is also up from 50.1% to 56.1% from the field, while his three-point shot has taken a massive leap from 38.9% to 60%. I know it’s been just 3 games, but that kind of productivity is paying off the massive contract the Sixers gave him a few years ago.

Harris has scored at least 20 points in the first 2 games of the series, and that was with Embiid in the lineup. Now with him gone there will be plenty more possessions on offense and Harris is one guy that will definitely benefit from that. In 14 games without Embiid during the regular season he averaged 18.8 points on better than 50% shooting, I’m sure he can get to that fairly easily in a sped up game like this one. He’s also scored at least 20 points in his last 6 of 12 games vs the Nets.
